Casa del migrante

Casa del Migrante deals with human rights violations toward Central American migrants traveling through Mexico. At Casa del Migrante, Nazareth, a migrant shelter in the border town of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, we hear first-hand accounts of the migrant's plight. It is through interviews that we learn about the migrants' travels to the border of the U.S./Mexico, their encounters with Mexican authorities, and their hopes and dreams for a future in the United States. Central American migrants report being in constant danger; many report abuses committed by Mexican authorities during their journey.
